CHILDREN'S PIEDMONT

Hi everyone! :-)

This space is for
you.

Here you will learn about what
kids in Piedmont are thinking about and dreaming about, how they see their neighborhoods and towns, the places where they play and the things that they see. We'll show you their drawings, you can read their stories and their ideas about the most beautiful places in Piedmont, those that you'll enjoy the most!

To start, we present some drawings made by Italian kids (that are now the same age as your parents) many years ago, before you were even born! The biggest newspaper in Turin, called "La Stampa", published a book called, "Kids' Guide to Turin and Piedmont" ("Guida dei ragazzi per Torino e Piemonte", 1978), and it was a travel guide written by kids in elementary and middle schools in Piedmont. It's a beautiful book that reminds us that we were all kids once!

AND NOW TAKE A LOOK AT THESE PICTURES..........

Emanuele Luzzati's Nativity

After a 5-year absence, the Nativity scene of the artist Emanuele Luzzati, from Genoa, returns in 2007 to the Sambuy Gardens in Carlo Felice Square (across the street from the Porta Nuova train station), as it was planned by the artist in 1997.
It is an ideal setting for kids and adults and is most fun to see at sunset, immersed in the magical Christmas atmosphere with the winter displays of artistic lights above Via Roma. It's a show of peace and beauty.
